Special Education/Individualized Education Program (IEP) Consultations
Psychologists are available to review existing records (e.g., evaluations, IEPs, and report cards) and meet with families to discuss diagnostic information, IEP recommendations/revisions, and possible additional interventions or other relevant planning.
Psychologists may also accompany parents to school meetings in order to assist in the development or revision of IEPs/ 504 plans as part of the multidisciplinary team. Working in your child’s best interests, emphasis is placed on building cooperative relationships with school personnel.
School/Teacher Consultations
For children struggling with behavioral expectations in school, a psychologist will conduct an observation in the classroom and work within the context of the educational environment to provide recommendations for meaningful interventions.
